DAVID ESCOBAR

Graduated for Santa Maria La Antigua University in Panama he obtained the title of Structural Architect in and later his License from the Technical Board of Engineers and Architects (JTIA) in 2002. In late 2005 he achieved a Master in Environment and Bioclimatic Architecture and a minor in Industrial Housing Flexibility, both at the Polytechnic University of Madrid, Spain, UPM.

Prior to the formation of Diamond & Escobar Architects, he served as architect for various design and planning studies in Madrid while he was studying. After his experience abroad, he joined the corporate design team for Copa Airlines in Panama being responsible for the design and construction of several offices throughout Latin America. He also served as an architect for Caddell Construction Co. in the construction of the U.S. Embassy in Panama City.

As an associate of Diamond & Escobar Architect,  he has worked on the development of residential, commercial and tourism projects.

ALAN DIAMOND

Graduated from Santa Maria La Antigua University in Panama where he obtained the title of Structural Architect and later acquires his License from the Technical Board of Engineers and Architects (JTIA) in 2001. In 2004 he obtained two masters degrees from the Universitat Ramon Llull in Barcelona, Spain. The first degree in Sustainable Architecture and Energy Efficiency and the second one in CAD Technologies Applied to Architecture and Construction.

Prior to the formation of Diamond & Escobar Architects, he served for five years as an Architect for International McKinney, U.S. planning, design and construction management firm in Panama. During this period he served many corporate clients such as Investment Konkord, Colon Import Export, J. Cain Company, COPEG, Summit Golf and Resort and the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute.

As an associate of Diamond & Escobar Architects, he has over 8 years in experience in residential, commercial and industrial park projects. Also is an active member of the Panamanian Society of Engineers and Architects and has served as Secretary of the Board of the College of Architects and was director of the international conference “Expo Arquitectura ” held in Panama in 2008.
